Paid Multiposting

Boost your job ad’s reach with premium job boards. This guide explains how Paid Multiposting works, how it differs from Organic (free) Multiposting, and how to use JOIN's promotion tools effectively.

Paid Multiposting allows you to boost the visibility of your job ads using premium products, helping you reach more targeted and qualified candidates. While every job published in JOIN is shared across selected free Standard Job Boards, you can also enhance exposure through Premium Job Boards, available as part of JOIN’s Paid Multiposting options.

All candidates, regardless of source, are collected centrally in JOIN, enabling you to manage your applications from a single interface.

Premium Job Boards

Premium Job Boards are additional job boards on JOIN. To share your job on premium job boards, you must purchase a single product or slot, or a bundle of products with premium job boards suitable for your job ad.

With JOIN, you get direct, one-click access to 250+ job boards. You can explore job boards and special offers on the Store > Discover tab in your account.


Benefits of promoting jobs

Promoting your job on Premium Job Boards offers several advantages that can significantly enhance your hiring process:

  • Enhanced visibility: Premium postings receive top-tier placement and benefit from recurring refreshes, keeping your job ad at the top of search results. This ensures your listing is consistently seen by more job seekers compared to standard postings.

  • Targeted reach: Many Premium Job Boards offer audience targeting by industry, location, or job function. This not only helps you reach more active job seekers but also attracts qualified passive candidates who may not be browsing general job boards.

  • Higher-quality candidates: Premium platforms tend to attract skilled professionals who are serious about their next career move. This improves the quality of applications and increases your chances of finding a strong match more efficiently.


Organic vs Paid job ads

JOIN automatically distributes job ads for free across a wide range of job boards, aggregators, and search engines (e.g. Google for Jobs) through multiposting. These free job postings help you get basic visibility.

Premium job ads, on the other hand, enables you to significantly increase exposure by promoting your job using premium products by various job boards. This can help you attract more candidates, faster. Think of this as running an adveritising campaign for your job.

The main distinction is in visibility and, consequently, accessibility to candidates. Free ads initially appear at the top of search results when published but gradually move further down over time.

Premium ads, however, are regularly refreshed by job boards, keeping them prominently displayed at the top of search results.

This enhanced visibility allows candidates to find premium ads more quickly and easily, which can potentially lead to a higher number of applications.


Ways to promote a job

JOIN offers three main ways to promote your job ads with paid products:

1. Premium job boards

Navigate to the Active Jobs tab, select your job, then go to the Premium job boards sub-tab. You’ll see two promotion options:

Premium products

If you prefer more control or are already sure about where you'd like to promote your job, you can browse and manually select from the various products types available, namely:

  • Bundles (e.g. Social Media Package, Top Seller Package)

  • Individual job boards (e.g. Stepstone, Indeed)

  • Slots (pre-purchased annual or flexible packages)

2. 'Promote' button

In the Jobs tab under Active, you’ll see a Promote button () on each job. Click this to go directly to promotion options for that job. This will take you to the Premium job boards sub-tab where you can follow the same steps as listed above.

3. Store

Go to the Store tab to explore all paid promotion options, even before creating or selecting a job. The Store is divided into four main sub-tabs:

Discover

The Discover sub-tab is your central hub for browsing all premium products from individual job boards to bundles. Use the search bar or filters to narrow results by industry, board type, or job function. Each product shows pricing, discounts, cashback offers, and details.

Inventory

Go to the Inventory sub-tab to view shows all your previously purchased products:

  • Unassigned items (ready to be used on a job). Simply click Assign to job to manage assigning an available product to an active job.

  • Active products (running or queued)

Products can be assigned immediately during checkout, allowing the job to be promoted right away. Alternatively, you can store them for later use in your Inventory tab and assign them when needed. Please note that unused products in your inventory must be used within one year of the purchase date, or they will expire.

Job boards

Go to the Job boards sub-tab to browse the full catalog of 250+ job boards supported by JOIN. This section is useful for comparing reach and pricing across different products on various platforms.

Bookings

View all your current and past promotions in one place. Track where your jobs were promoted, monitor performance, and repurchase products with a single click.

  • See which platforms your job was promoted on

  • Check publication and expiration dates

  • Monitor performance metrics like views, clicks, and candidates

  • Quickly rebook with the Buy again button


Types of product for paid job ads

1. Individual premium products

These are fixed-price or performance-based postings on job platforms (e.g. Stepstone, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc). These products can have various discounts in the form of:

Cashback or JOIN Credits

Some products offer cashback, where you earn store credits (e.g. €30) after purchase. These credits can be used on future JOIN purchases. Look for the Cashback tag on eligible products.

  • Automatically applied as discounts on future orders

  • Check your Credit balance in the top-right of the Store

Quantity discounts

When purchasing multiple units of a product (e.g. 2 or more Pro Plus postings), you’ll see reduced pricing per unit. Savings are displayed clearly in the product dropdown menu.

2. Bundles

Packages that group several platforms into one purchase for better value. These often include discounts and cashback (e.g. LinkedIn & XING Bundle, Social-Media Bundle, Top Seller Package, etc.).

3. Slots

Annual or flexible subscriptions that allow you to post multiple jobs over time on the same board. Ideal for high-volume hiring. Slots offer:

  • Preferential pricing

  • Job exchanges

  • Scheduled posting (queueing)


Billing models

JOIN supports different billing models for paid products depending on the job board. The billing model is shown in the product details before purchase.

Fixed-price

Pay once for a set duration (e.g. 30 days on Stepstone)

CPC

Cost per click (you’re charged for each click your ad receives)

CPA

Cost per application (you’re charged when a candidate applies)

P4P

Pay for performance (can include CPA or CPC depending on the board)


Managing products post purchase

  • After you purchase a product, you can manage it from the Inventory tab. Use the Assign to job button for unassigned products

  • Track active and expired bookings from the Bookings tab

  • Monitor performance and plan rebooking from the Bookings view
