# Bundesagentur für Arbeit

The Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) is Germany’s national employment agency and one of the largest job boards in the country. Through JOIN’s integration, you can automatically transfer your open jobs to the BA for free, ensuring visibility among millions of active job seekers.

After activation, all jobs you publish through JOIN will automatically be transferred to the BA. Any applications received through the BA will also be transmitted back to JOIN, where you can manage them as usual.

### Requirements for integration

Before you can activate the integration in JOIN, you must complete the following steps with the Federal Employment Agency directly:

#### Register as a company

If you do not yet have an employer account or employer number with the BA, you need to register [here](https://www.arbeitsagentur.de/). Your employer account must hold the status "betreut" (supervised). To achieve this, contact the Employer Service of the BA, call your assigned contact person, and request that your account be marked as "betreut" in their Verbis system.

#### Request a cooperation agreement

To enable XML data transmission, you need a cooperation agreement from the BA. Send an email request to:

You can use the following template:

#### Sign and return the agreement

After you return the signed cooperation agreement, the BA will send you:

* Link to download the certificate
* Link to the certificate password
* Allianz Partner Number
* Customer Number (10-digit)
* Supplier ID

These steps must be completed directly with the BA. JOIN cannot take these actions on your behalf.

### Activating the BA integration in JOIN

Once you have received your credentials, you can enable the integration in JOIN:

1. In JOIN, go to `Settings` → `Integrations` → `Bundesagentur für Arbeit`.
2. Upload your certificate file (note: issued annually — keep this updated).
3. Enter your certificate password.
4. Fill in your Allianz Partner Number, Customer Number (10-digit), and Supplier ID.
5. Click `Save changes` to activate the integration.

Once connected, you’ll see the integration marked as ‘Connected’ in your JOIN account.

### Job quality guidelines

Your job ad may be rejected by the BA if:

* The job location and federal state do not match
* The job is for a training position, but your company is not registered as a training provider
* The advert contains discriminatory language or content

If a posting is rejected, you can edit the job in JOIN, and we will forward the updated version to the BA. If errors occur during transmission, and the ad displayed on the BA does not match your version in JOIN, please contact our support team.
