# Social Media

Social media bookings let you promote a job on social platforms (such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook) via a booking made in the JOIN Store. Instead of publishing your job on a traditional job board, JOIN coordinates the creation and delivery of an ad using selected job and company details.

This helps you reach passive candidates who may not be actively browsing job boards. Ads appear in social media feeds and are optimised to attract attention.

**How you can benefit from using social media bookings:**

* Reach passive candidates where they spend their time online
* Broaden your audience beyond traditional job platforms
* No need to design or manage ads yourself
* Applications arrive in JOIN like any other source, making your workflow easy

**When it might not be the right fit:**

* You need a public job link to share elsewhere
* You want to customise the ad appearance
* You need to approve the creative before launch

Social media bookings are a managed, low-effort way to reach passive candidates across top platforms. While you don’t get a preview or public link, JOIN handles setup and coordination for you — helping you attract candidates beyond job boards without adding work to your team.

### How it works

1. Go to `Store` → `Bookings`
2. Select a job and choose a Social Media Premium Booking or bundle
3. Confirm and activate the booking
4. When the booking status shows online, the ad is live on social media
5. JOIN builds the ad using a mix of elements from your job posting — such as the job title, company name, description, and logo (this may vary by platform)
6. Candidates see the ad in their feed and can apply via a mobile-friendly form
7. Applications appear in the `Applications` tab
8. You can track performance (including clicks and applications) in `Store` → `Bookings`

JOIN coordinates the ad creation and delivery process. You don’t need to upload assets or configure platform settings.

### Example ads (reference only)

You cannot preview your specific ad, but here are examples to show the general style and format:

* TikTok example video (generic layout using job details)
* Instagram screenshot (company name/logo inserted dynamically)

{% hint style="info" %}
These examples are for illustration only. Actual ad appearance depends on the platform and job details.
{% endhint %}

**Tips to achieve the best results:**

* Use a clear, appealing job title
* Add a recognisable company name and logo
* Highlight the most attractive parts of the job
* Keep the job description concise and mobile-friendly
